About Tia

Spawned from a screaming vortex of entropy and rainbows, Tia has spent her life in a state of Missouri. Usually within body-dumping range of a large river. Her first taste of horror was the Kevin Bacon-flavored Tremors. But it wasn't until high school and Dark Castle Entertainment started remaking classics like 13 Ghosts and House on Haunted Hill that she would truly fall in love with the horror genre.

In January 2011 she met and fell in love with something else: another horror weirdo named David. In March of that year David proposed in a Barnes and Noble (did we mention they're weird?) They were married in 2012, and have been ride or die ever since.

These days Tia splits her time between podcast research and being a dispatcher for a local security company. When she's not doing one of her jobs, she enjoys cooking, being witchy, watching movies (sometimes even stuff not for the podcast), and perfecting her Stardew Valley farm.

About David

David is the Co-Host and Editor for His & Hers Horror podcast.

David believes the Horror genre lends itself to be a versatile platform to encourage discussions you would not normally have, given the often subversive and challenging material presented and the wild tangents that can spin from a well-told story.

His experience working in radio in the late 90’s and love of theatre prepared him to learn the newer tools used in modern podcasting. His six years in the Navy prepared him to spend long hours in an editing suite to track down odd noises and spare you from the weird sounds we humans all make.

When not researching and editing for the podcast, David is a customer service and technical support trainer. In his downtime (lol, what’s that), he enjoys breaking the economy in various video games and setting new random challenges for himself (pistols only Borderlands runs, for example).

Either way, he’s still David.
